Vermilion Lighthouse

The Vermilion Lighthouse proudly stands in the front of The Great Lakes Historical Society, on the shore of Lake Erie in Vermilion, Ohio. Her creeping catwalk, narrow pier, beauty, and stature have been an inspiration to many artists and photographers.

1859 The lighthouse was rebuilt. Its 6th Order Fresnel Lens was replaced by a 5th Order Frenel Lens.
