The National Museum of the Great Lakes has made the difficult decision to raise our membership rates in 2017. This is due to rising operational costs, such as postage, utilities and increased staff. This is not a decision we made lightly. Our priority is always to minimize costs while maintaining the benefits of membership, such as publication of our newsletter and free and reduced admission to special programs and events. Membership dues, along with admission fees, proceeds from our H2Oh! Fundraiser and our Annual Fund help ensure the organization’s financial stability so that we can continue to “preserve and make known the history of the Great Lakes” for years to come.
We have offered current members the opportunity to renew their membership through 2019 at their current rate, which they can take advantage of until January 15, 2017. Starting on January 1, 2017, the below new rates will apply for all new memberships.
