Col. James M. Schoonmaker Sail

The last voyage of the Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship will take place on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 10:30 am.  This event is by invitation only – tickets CANNOT be purchased.  Invitations will go in the mail to guests in early September.

The ship will throw her lines at International Park at 11:00 am and travel approximately one mile down river to her new home next to the new National Museum of the Great Lakes at 1701 Front Street.  The public is encouraged to come out and watch her progress 101 years after she was first launched.
