Individuals and companies alike are encouraged to sponsor Treasures on the Lakes! In 2007, Treasures on the Lakes raised nearly $105,000 in unrestricted operating
income for the Society, a new record! An important part of this success is due to the generosity of the event's sponsors. Sponsorship levels are available from $5,000 to $250; each level
provides an excellent corresponding benefits package. For more information on sponsorship opportunities, contact Executive Director Christopher Gillcrist at (440) 967-3467.
Treasures on the Lakes has become the second most important source of unrestricted operating income for The Great Lakes Historical Society. The funds raised from this event allows
the Society to continue to accomplish its mission of preserving and making known the rich history of the U.S. and Canadian Great Lakes, by continually improving its Inland Seas®
journal, the Inland Seas Maritime Museum, the Clarence S. Metcalf Great Lakes Maritime Research Library, and the Peachman Lake Erie Shipwreck Research Center.
